Questions about 3301 HST

Will it satisfactorily handle a Bush Hog 285? Bush Hog says the 285 needs a minimum 30 hp tractor. I believe the 3301 is rated at 33 engine and 27.5 pto.

Will it satisfactorily operate one of the light duty Tractor Supply County Line 6' mowers?

Fwiw, my cutter is listed for 20-50hp and my tractor is rated at 26/19.5. It has never bogged the tractor down and I've run it through some nasty stuff.

I have always heard 5 hp per foot of rotary cutter. It is not it say it wont, but at what speed and how deep is the stuff you are cutting. I am sure you could use an 84" cutter if the 3 point/tractor can handle the weight of the cutter, but you will travel very slow. Sometimes less is more. Whatever you have, have fun and be safe.:thumbsup:
