I snapped the handle/lever (at the attachment point) that opens and closes the 2 engagement pins...it looks like it may just bolt onto the pivot point but i'm not sure...anybody have suggestions on where to purchase a replacement?

I was using a cheater bar and obviously pushed too hard :(

thanks, John.

Who made the QA? Kioti or was it aftermarket?
I'm guessing you will need to go to the original manufacture of the QA to get parts.
I know I did when I did the same thing to mine. 5' cheater bar won over the QA.

I'll need to check the plate...I think it's probably aftermarket (who makes them? ...does the handle typically just bolt on?

thanks

1) Weld it back together.

2) You should never need to use a cheater bar to close these things. If it doesn't close with hand pressure then something is not lined up properly. The Kioti quick attach is narrower than many others and it is possible to line up an implement off center so that the holes don't match up with the pins. While you have the welder out put in a spacer to prevent the implement from being off center.

Either that or it needs greased.
If the pins are dry they can be hard to latch/unlatch.

My QA handles are easy to close/open when properly lined up and properly greased. If they are hard to close, I look for the reason. Alignment and needing grease (one time) are the only two reasons I have found for difficulty in operating the QA handles.

Alignment is achieved by "flipping" the attachment so it settles fully and properly into the QA cradle.

Cheater bars....I use all the time, have several different ones, various sizes and lengths, but NEVER considered using them on the QA handles.
