Looking
The quick attach setup on my 45S used to lock in the unlock position when the lever was moved over to that position. After locking the lever in the locked position it always stays locked. When the tractor was new the lever locked in both positions. I would think the lever should stay locked in both positions. Is this a correct assumption? When removing my bucket or pallet forks the lever not staying locked in the unlock position makes backing away from either attachment difficult. Nothing is loose or broken that I can see. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with the QA lever. It will not stay in the unlock position. And it is really a PITA when trying to back away from any attachment. I think it only stayed in the unlock position one time after I got the tractor.

Mine stays "locked" in either position, but at only 22 hrs on the machine maybe I haven't broken the QA in yet. Also my loader is a Woods. I hope mine keeps working as it is now, having the attachment hang up, especially on removal, would be a PITA. I switch between my bucket and forks constantly.

Maybe less grease on the pin??:)

Mine worked fine up till about a month ago. I switch back and forth between bucket and forks alot. It is hard for me to believe that it is functioning normal. I was hoping some other owners or even dealers would jump in and chime.

It must be the brand, because mine has 2 spring loaded locking levers. I got it offthe Kioti dealer. bcs

I had the same problem with my QA attachment adapter. It turned out that one of the bolts holding the locking pin in place was slowly backing out and preventing the lever from being able to get past the point of the arc where it was stable and locked. I disassembled the thing, tightened the nuts and since then it has worked just fine. I have attached photos of mine so you can see if your adapter is a similar style. The close up photo shows the nut that was backing off. It did not interfer with opening or closing but did prevent the lever from getting all the way into the locked position. (note the slightly different angle of the left side lever in the larger photo, that was the side that was not locking). It only takes about ten minutes to disassemble and reassemble but an extra pair of hands is helpful for reassembly as I recall.

Mine just has a single lever in the center that works both sides. Thanks anyway.

Donny
I just dropped my bucket and looked at the mechanism. On mine it looks like the two flat plates on top of the springs are suppose to move to the outside and allow the handle to move further past center and hold the pins up. One of these plates is trying to move but the other one won't. I hope this is an adjustment issue. I am going to check with my dealer and see what he thinks.

Donny, PoleClimber, and I have the NH skidsteers 2 lever system. PoleClimber was instructing me on the use of my QA bucket, and said that you must keep these QA greased well, and clear of dirt and debris. Ours has a grease fitting for the pins, and I pump them up well. You might want to check yours for dirt, and grease it up well. This might help, as well as checking for the loose bolts. I am amazed as to how easy it is to remove the bucket, and install another attachment. I was using PoleClimber's grapple this weekend. Another great engineered QA product from PoleClimber.
