Corporate strategy. It forces I-Match owners to buy JD-branded implements. Except for those die-hards with green and yellow blood - universal is better.

Concur 100%. In fact it was my experience with the QH that started me down that exact path. I don't go implement shopping anymore - without a tape measure. What we should be doing as tractor owners is not buying any implements that do not fit the quick hitch specification, and then telling the manufacturers why we are not buying their equipment.
No need to go to all that expense. Just get a PTO extender. It adds ~4" to the tractor's PTO spline. If you have a hole pre-drilled in the spline, you can get the pin-on type: http://www.agrisupply.com/pto-adapter-bolt-on-/p/11973/cn/3500008/ If no hole, you can get the push-button type: http://www.agrisupply.com/pto-adapter-feamle-male-/p/11976/cn/3500008/I think I just want to make sure with a longer PTO shaft. Any comments?
