well i could not pass up the deal with HF, maybe after i find out the pros and cons on it.
I have never used one, i have had 3 wrist surgery's and another major one being discussed, or loose my arm. I have a hard time getting a bush hog hooked up without a QH.
If i don't like the HF one, then i will turn it into a hitch to tow trailers and buy the I-Match.

I just ordered "Pat's Easy Change" here on TBN from the "STORE" tab. I'll let y'all know the results after I get to use it. I've been reading alot about it and other brands on these posts. "Pat's Easy Change" seems to be the most cost effective for my needs.
I see many of you have telescopic arms on your 3PH. For those people, you must understand that some of us don't have telescopic arms. And for us that don't, it is much harder to get to the right position to link up. Sooo many times I've went forward and reverse.
At one time, I put my Brush Hog Cutter on the front yard temporarily because I was in a hurry to use another attachment. But, it was placed on a slight slope. When I went to attach it again, it took me 30 minutes of backing/forward and arms up/down with the tractor correctly. At one point I used a hammer cause it was so close, which I read here others have also. I just laughed when I read it!!
With other Quick Hitches that I've read about here, it seems you have to modify some of the attachments and some older attachments will not work.
Anyway, I'll let y'all know.

I have a Speeco hitch from Tractor supply. Love it. I also have a JD Imatch that has been modified so it also fits on the FEL Bobtatch hitch. Love it.
It takes a little effort to modify old implements to fit the quick hitch, but for me the effort has been worth while.
I welded a chain hook on each side of the Speeco, near the top. If I have to hook a very heavy drawbar implement to the drawbar (14,000 lb roller or 14' disk) I hook a chain on the far side chain hook, under the implement tongue and hang it on the other hitch chain hook. By lifting the hitch I can raise the implement and back the tongue right onto my drawbar.
Flesh, fingers, and vertebrae are valuable to me. In addition to speed, minimal frustration, and no pry bars, tools or hammer, the quick hitch is much safer to use than without.
If mine broke tomorrow I would buy another one tomorrow.
I personally don't care for the Pat's design. I leaves off a lot of the advantages of the Imatch or Speeco. IMO the JD hitch is higher quality than the Speeco.

I've got the Land Pride and love it!
QD pins on the top hook, all modern implenents seem to fit... What's not to like??
And the best part... It's made in Kansas!

IMO, JD is just doing what all other manufacturers should be doing, which is using the new ASME national standard CAT 1 quick hitch dimensions for tractor implements. That type of leadership comes when you by quality like JD. Of course, the JD quick hitch implements can be used even if you do not yet have a quick hitch.
What we should be doing as tractor owners is not buying any implements that do not fit the quick hitch specification, and then telling the manufacturers why we are not buying their equipment. They will quickly modify the design so the implement will also work with the Cat I quick hitch specification.

Concur 100%. In fact it was my experience with the QH that started me down that exact path. I don't go implement shopping anymore - without a tape measure.
But until such time as all implement manufacturers actually DO get on the same standard, universal (on the tractor side) is still better.

The hitch in the second picture is that set up to mount on a fel. just wondering about the plates welded on the sides. I have a speeco also and like it very well. The only thing i can't hook to is my Bushhog brand cutter but i'm going to fix that very soon.

Hey y'all, Got my Pat's Easy Change on Tuesday. Didn't get to install it 'till this afternoon (Fri).
Took about 20 minutes to install (took my time to read the instructions carefully) and I was on my way. It's nice to be able to just back up, make contact with both pins, then lift and hook. No modifications to the attachments. I tell ya, I was taking up to 30 mins to hook up before.
One thing, it adds another 4" to the length of your arms. My Top Link extends fine. But for my Brush hog, I might get a longer PTO shaft. I measured only 7 1/2" overlap. My Operator's Maunal says a minimum of 6". I don't feel confortable with 7 1/2". I have to think about it more. It should be fine (i.e. I'm sure it complies with metal fatigue and sheer stress levels) but, I think I just want to make sure with a longer PTO shaft. Any comments?
Another thing is that the Stabilizer Bar helps alot to get the right width. But, with the Brush Hog you need to remove it after you're hooked. Cause, it will get in the way of the PTO shaft. The Stabilizer Bar uses a Spring type Cotter Pin to secure. There should be an easier way to secure it without those pins.
Anyway, here's some pictures and overall, I highly recommend it!! It sure is faster.

No need to go to all that expense. Just get a PTO extender. It adds ~4" to the tractor's PTO spline.
