Quick Hitches Quick Hitch???

If you perform a search on quick hitch you will find lots of discussions on them.

In general they work fine. All my stuff will work but there are a number of implements that need to minor modifications to fit the QH.

I have heard that there are other manufacturers of this same design. Does anyone know who else make it?
I called the local John Dealer and they make one but the salesman did not recommend it.....kinda strange for a salesman...don't you think?

I think the ones TSC have are the Speedco units. Looks the same as the one at NT.

Thanks for the replies......I went to Northern and they had one in stock but it did not look right.....something told me not to buy it.....so I didn't. I then drove to TSC and they had one and I realized what was wrong with the Northern one. It was missing several parts and was $30 more than the one at TSC. I bought the one from TSC and will try it out this weekend.....
Thanks again.

Agood,

What are you putting it on? Does not work withsome CUT's.

Your profile does not mention any kind of tractor.

I've got the John Deere version (iMatch) and I love it.
I am adapting my none iMatch compatible attachments
No more smashed fingers and / or back problems

The salesman might just be a heads up guy that felt like
doing you a favor.

I think there may be either a patent issue involved or
extreme arrogance on JD's part to think that people are
only going to run out and buy brand new IMatch compatible
attachments.

Even some of JD's stuff won't work with it.

So you would think if they could they would just build
their quickhitch like the Landpride built model that has
an adjustable top position.
With that your range of old and new implements that can be
used without modifications is much larger.

The JD top position is fixed.

I went with the Land Pride Quick Hitch. The reason I chose Land Pride over the other ones on the market was the top hook is adjustable. I have some Land Pride equipment which was not set up for the hitch and called Land Pride for the spec's to drill new top pin holes. I also have some equipment which could not be modified and the adjustable top hook gave me use of these implements also. Works fine end of story.
