Quick Hitch

Does anyone have any experience with the Nortrac 3pt quick hitch from Northern Tool? On sale for $109.99. Great price on a quick hitch if it's any good.

I have one & its not bad for the money. Same basic issues as the Harbor Freight one or the other cheap quick hitches. Same quality you'd expect from Harbor Freight gear, ugly & light weight, but gets the job done pretty well. The biggest issue is the toplink hook doesn't stick out far enough I had to weld an extra inch or 2 onto both my Northern Tool one & some other similar cheap garage sale find. Weld an inch of scrap on the back of the hook, drill 2 new holes & you are good to go. Unless it's a John Deere or Land Pride, they are all about the same cheap ones from what I've seen.

I'm finishing re-working my post hole digger to work on my quick hitch (requires a hydraulic toplink) & will more or less be setup to never take the quick hitch off again. It works great. With the TnT cylinders I can pretty much hitch up to or drop anything without getting of the tractor unless there is a PTO shaft or hydraulics involved. I'd highly recommend one, even the cheap ones.

I've had real good luck with my HF quick hitch which is essentially the same as the northern tool model. I do have the cat2 hitch. My next implement to convert is my rotary cutter.
