When I check the oil in my Rhino, do I screw the dipstick in or not?

THANKS!

I don't know anything about the Rhino but anytime you check an oil dipstick for any application it should be fully inserted first.

Cheers,
Mike

Not necessarily. I had a Yamaha ATV and to check the oil you remove the dipstick, wipe, and insert to threads but do not screw in. I had a Kaw. ATV that you did have to screw in. With the low capacity of these engines, that little difference could be alot.

The 2006 Rhino I owned did have a screw in dipstick. Some engines you check screwed in some you don't. The Rhino IIRC was not screwed in to check, but some engines you do screw it in to check.
The Yamaha site has free downloadable owner's manuals if you don't have one, rutwad.
