Thanks Everyone...I ABSOLUTELY agree that fluid going through that hose seems completely impossible so that is why I nixed the idea to begin with. It wasn't until I pulled the 2 filters out and saw fluid inside the housing that made me even think it might be possible. That had been cleaned out before the pics were taken. The inside of the filter housing was soaked. BUT...Here is the BUT part....Today I had to mow the lawn and feed the goats so when I knew I would be gone for about 20 minutes I topped the tractor's fluid off and let it run. When I came back, there is a leak in the bottom right hand corner of the radiator ( facing the tractor) that is shooting fluid directly up and DIRECTLY into the air intake port. A one in a million leak shot
Why it wasn't visible before...Beats me. I need to go ahead and replace the radiator. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to order one from or should I order one from the local John Deere? Trouble is now I need about 6 hours run time to finish something I just have to get done. I have heard of using pepper before but never tried it. Wouldn't know whether to put in a tablespoon or a cup full....
