Thanks Everyone...I ABSOLUTELY agree that fluid going through that hose seems completely impossible so that is why I nixed the idea to begin with. It wasn't until I pulled the 2 filters out and saw fluid inside the housing that made me even think it might be possible. That had been cleaned out before the pics were taken. The inside of the filter housing was soaked. BUT...Here is the BUT part....Today I had to mow the lawn and feed the goats so when I knew I would be gone for about 20 minutes I topped the tractor's fluid off and let it run. When I came back, there is a leak in the bottom right hand corner of the radiator ( facing the tractor) that is shooting fluid directly up and DIRECTLY into the air intake port. A one in a million leak shot :) Why it wasn't visible before...Beats me. I need to go ahead and replace the radiator. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to order one from or should I order one from the local John Deere? Trouble is now I need about 6 hours run time to finish something I just have to get done. I have heard of using pepper before but never tried it. Wouldn't know whether to put in a tablespoon or a cup full....

Get ready to try to find a local radiator shop that can repair or replace that! From everything I've heard on here, Deere parts in general and radiators in particular are very "deere". ;-) Like maybe $500 +++

Still, way better than a head or block!

Was your leak at that little white spot ?

Nope....look at the very first picture before I took the intake cover off. Do you see how the air's intake's port is pointing slightly to the right? At the VERY VERY bottom right hand corner of the radiator ( as you face the tractor ) is the leak. The leak was spraying so perfectly that it shot directly into the intake port and into the housing unit. It was a one in a million leak :) There was about 4 tablespoons of fluid in the housing the first time I looked. I cleaned it all out and blew out the filter before replacing. That is when I thought the leak was coming from overhead somehow and draining into the intake housing. It wasn't until I saw it dripping from the intake port that I began to think otherwise. If it wasn't for this forum...I might have started to take the engine apart.....Boy...would I have looked like an IDIOT.............again :)
