Rake rake gauge wheels

Just curious, but can you angle the rake with the gauge wheels to pile up rocks, etc. in windrows?

The wheels on my KK rake swivel as do all the others I have seen. JC

I'll say this, I would hate to have to use it without the gaugue wheels. It is so easy to clean up an area of rocks, debris or whatever with the wheels set properly.

I know it's probably funny, but I rerely ever use the guage wheels on my very heavy Ford 8 foot rake. I've been using York type rakes for about 40 years and have hundreds of hours with them and find their is just about nothing I can't do without the wheels.

There is nothing that substitutes for experience! The problem is I don't have time to get all that experience and need all the help I can get to just get it right (or at close to right) the first time. I have used the rake to spread dirt without using the wheels, so I can see how it can be done.
