Ram X mount

Has anyone tried using a Ram X mount to hold their cell phone while doing some tractor work? I seen one on a motorcycle and wondered how well it would work on a open cab.

I have one of the Ram-X mounts clamped to the door handle in my cab of my L4060. It holds my Samsung Note 8 just fine when the machine is bouncing around. I've never put the rubber band thing over the corners of the phone or felt the need for it.

I've used one on my motorcycles for years. They work great in that application. Very solid.

I have used the Ram Mounts for years on motorcycles, trucks, and tractors. Never had a problem with any of them.

I put my phone in the zippered pocket on the front of my bib overalls. Check it when I stop for water or a leak. Wear earplugs the rest of the time while operating in my happy place.

Yes - they work very well and hold the phone tight. I also mostly carry my cell on the tractor, not to take calls but to have the ability to make one in an emergency.

In addition to streaming Pandora music, I use my phone to look at photos of driveways (taken from the tractor seat view) so when they're snow covered I can get the exact same view.

The RAM MOUNT Aqua Box is fairly water tight but not submersible and works with some of the touch screen devices.
