turf tires suck? but looking at those ramp angles... honestly i think my tractor with R4's would climb a straight 4" ledge better than a ramp over 6"

Just a thought or two:

1. Could you put a 4x4 or something under your bucket so the "tractor end" of your loader assembly is down to tractor height?

2. Can't you connect the hoses and dump the bucket a bit to get the arms lower? My 'Bota hoses are long enough to connect while the tractor is still nearly a foot away from "home".

What you call "ramps" look more like wheel chocks. Your tires would get more purchase if you built up the ramp in layers, say with three 2x10s of decreasing length nailed or glued together like this (side view):

i did not try on a Kioti but normally the FEL can be put on a pallet even if the tractor if on the ground. I never tried a front snowblower... maybe you could just raise the front of the blower to angle the whole thing toward the anchor on the tractor?

or strap the snowblower and lift it with the FEL, then remove the FEL and install the blower.

If you put a couple handfuls of coarse grit sand into a paint tray with some paint and then use that to paint your ramps your tires will get a better grip on the ramps. Epoxy resin paint will be much stronger if you happen to have some, and the sand will stay longer before it scrapes off.

I added the 2X10 and it would do it if I was aggressive with the approach/speed with the risk of driving over the backside of the ramps, so then I added a 2X4 to the 2X10 and it crawled right up. I'll have to incorporate some blocks(2X10 with a 2X4 married) to get the tractor up. Thanks for all the good ideas. I believe that interchanging the attachments will evolve as I do it more. Just don't fully understand how the height/weight distribution effects each attachment yet. My biggest need is space and having the attachments on dollies will allow me to roll the FEL/SB around in the garage and use just one bay of the garage for storage and changeout. Now the real test will be actually removing/installing attachements with the ramps and dollies....:confused2:

Are you in low gear?

Wait, does the tractor stall, or do the wheels spin? Or do the "ramps" just slide forward? There are different ways to fix this depending on what your specific failure mode is.

Steep angle with turf tires.... tricky. I would just saw off your ramps at a lower angle. This is really a pretty stupid problem, should be no issue at all.

I agree it's a stupid problem, the reason I posted is because I don't know limitations of tractors and I couldn't believe a TRACTOR wouldn't climb right up the ramps even at the chock-like angle. Just me being a newbie to tractor operation I guess... Failure mode is HP or stalling(that's the same right?). It just won't climb it; no ramp slippage, no tire slippage, low gear, 3 tires driving, high rpm's. I do think thats what i'll do is decrease the angle even if i have to build new ramps because i'd rather have one ramp for each tire versus having to add a second ramp(2X10 & 2X4) to each tire every time i change attachments...
Thanks for all the input. big thing for me is i'm not hearing "your tractor is a piece of crap and any other tractor would climb right up!" Aaron
