and this Cockshutt 1950T

I didn't have a pic to post but that is the same style I like in the olivers, only the cockshutt was red instead of green.

Maybe it has something to do with the 300lb + grills that I am partial to

But that syling just looks like a tractor ready to work.

I was unaware of Cockshutt tractors, probably never made it to Australia.

Thought they bore some resemblance to IH of the same era but from what I read on the net there was never any ties.

New tractor wise I like the New Holland retro N model.

My vote is on the boomer 8n. It definatly is one sweet ride.

That reminds me of the Loewy designed Farmalls. Wonderful, classic flowing lines. That, is a beautiful tractor!

John Deere Model 70 diesel with the 4 cylinder gasoline pony motor. I go to a lot of tractor shows. When I hear a Model 70 running I will go out of my way to see it. The bigger model two cylinder John Deere's just don't sound as sweet as the Model 70 diesel.

For me, the best looking tractor is the one with the contented owner sitting on its seat holding the title in his hand. Just somethig about no payment making the tool more awesome!
