Ransomes Bob-Cat front mount mower model T- 18B

A friend of mine offered me a Ransomes Bob-Cat T-18B with a shaft driven front mount mower. The mower just had $300 in parts put on it and had its engine replaced a few years ago. The guy who owned it has always had it regularly serviced by my friends shop. My friend put $300 in new spindles, blades and some other stuff on it a week ago. At his shop he had a small craftsman mower for sale for $500 and the guy bought it and gave my friend the t-18B and $200 instead of paying the bill. My friend offered it to me for $300 what do you guys think? It runs and cuts great.

Buy it! Its a little rough,but paint and a seat will fix that

It looks like it has an Onan, which is a solid performer. It looks to be lacking power steering, which isn't so great. If I had a flat, wide open area, and needed a mower, I'd go for it. Just a mulch kit for a tractor MMM is nearly $300!

Buy it! I had a Ford version of one with a 27hp diesel. It was a great mower. They are built like tanks and can be used for all sorts of stuff. I only sold mine to replace it with a Zero Turn because it was a quicker cut and softer ride, plus I didn't need it anymore for plowing (but it plowed snow pretty well too).

WOW!!!!!!!!!! seems like yours REALLY comes in handy! The FEL is a REALLY good idea in my opinion! Especially with the rear steer that thing must be very agile!

It seems i lucked out with this thing as my friend is giving it to me now for helping him with a clutch job on a tractor. I own a landscaping company and have several zero turn mowers so i am playing around with the idea of putting a small FEL on it after seeing those photos! Also i plan to get a snow blower for it.

Yep, very handy and very agile, The inside turning radius is 18 inches! Have been using it for 8 years.

Also have a 48 inch Brinly box blade for it.

I just bought a Ransomes T-22DV last spring
because nobody knows about them no body wants to buy one
I paid $1850. for mine with 1500 hrs. on it
the little diesel isn't even broke in yet
