Trump was attempting to put limits on drug prices.
Guess that idea is gone forever ...now!
There scary part about the medication I'm on. If my insurance refused to approve it, I would have received it for $25 a dose from the manufacturer.

If that's scary how about this I've been on Eliquis for a few years now;
my co-pay is $50 every month, however if I go on the website I ca get a coupon for $5 co-pays!!!!!
that'd be nice wouldn't it, Oh wait you go to the VA for annual routine checkups because you go to the VA
or if you are on medicaid or medicare you are not able to get these nice negotiated prices.
Anyone under any federal care or aid program can not use the discounted co-pays per federal law.
That is how screwed up much of our regulations are.

I was giving myself arthritis shots every week for the last four years. The shots came in a box of four packed in a special cold pack box. Those shots were about $2600 each list price. That's $10,400 a month x 12 moths x 4 years. In round numbers, about a half a million dollars. I'm glad I didn't have to pay it. The drug companies have programs to aid "under insured" folks. They supplied the drugs and shipped it to my door for free. I didn't have to pay a dime--For that. I had to apply for the programs every year. Now's the time to do it. I'm surprised your cousin's doctor didn't mention it.

On the flip, why don't you give one of your kidneys to your cousin. My mom did that for my brother. She was 60 at the time. Mom will be celebrating her 95th birthday in January. My brother passed away at age 50 from other complications. He lived 30 years more than he was expected to at birth.

There are no programs for him, it's got to come out of his pocket. His sister is already donating the kidney, just as his brother did 22 years ago.

My Lyrica Rx retailed at about $700 a month prior to going generic without insurance. Now its about $25 with GoodRx. It accounted for 17% of Pfizers revenue before their trademark expired. Have you noticed the Lyrica TV ads stopped?

Sort of shipping related, where is the box you can check to stop junk mail and political flyers? Remember the Do Not Call list?

Too bad that it doesn't work, now they just spoof somebody else's number so you don't know who is calling. First I was getting 3 and 4 messages per day from the same number, which was the last half of a recording. I finally blocked my own number and called theirs... it was for extended auto warranty coverage. THen I started getting multiple calls per day from various numbers; my phone has a blcok feature but as soon as I blocked one they would start using another. Until recently I was getting 10-12 calls per day from various places across the US.

Wrong approach on dem calls. Only polite thing to do is waste caller's time.
My bud Buzzard de master.

Guy calls to sell warranty on car Buzzard never owned. 3 minutes of What, speak up and de fool does. 4 minutes of questions bout 40 Honda, Buzzard answers. Buzzard need clarification on coverage on what ifs, and is dis coveredd? Salesman thinks he got de hook set. More questions bout de rental car when Buzmobile in shop. Don't want dat coverage, Buzzard tells guy he just have 1 his girls grab car from customer. Salesman little curious, asks Buzzard what business he in. Personal service. Things real slow wid de Covid, income down.

Hook in salesman mouth now. What kind personal service. Buzzard says he got 6 girls workin senior living places. Salesman asks what girls do? Buzzard tells him dey make old farts happy. Terrible wid de Covid, girls gotta climb in windows now cause doors all locked so dey can't go in as visitor. Tells how one girl laid up for week not makin money cause she snagged herself goin in window. Salesman asks what girls do inside. Buzzard asks what he thinks ****** do? He got any idea how dem old farts want some action?

Buzzard does switchup and asks do the service cover bullet holes in back of car? Salesman says no, how car get bullet hole? Another pimp's girl shoot at de car haulin azz away from nursing home.

Dat single call saved at least 2 potential victims from getting ripped off on fake warranty.

If you go to the VA, why don't you just have them mail you the Eliquis?
VA copay is $8/month.

Because my primary insurance is CDPHP first thru my work and now thru my wifes.
Because I carry insurance they don't want to be primary.
And in some respects I am glad my PSA numbers were going up a few years ago,
VA doc prescribed some meds to lower the number, that didn't do a thing for the prostate cancer.
Which radiation seems to have taken care of.
And at the time they were still doing cumadine and wouldn't write for the Eliquis.

Medicare is my primary and the state retiree insurance is secondary. I never wanted VA because I knew it would be a nightmare and there were veteran's that really needed them. My only service related problem would be tinnitus and some hearing loss. Others are much worse off.

The extended warranty calls have picked up again. They took off for Christmas. Then started up this past week. I've probably gotten 30 calls, all from different numbers.
