On a 3PH using a RB with inside mounted pins, do you keep the lifting arms tight against the inside or the outside of the pin? I'm trying to figure out the best amount of tension to use while the RB is installed for snow removal this winter.

I normally leave a bit of slack on the lifting arms so they are not forced out or pulling in on the pins. A sort of middle of the road setting.

I think setting it where it would stay on if one of the lynch pins came out would be the way to go, so if hitch pins face in, tension would be opposite of lynch pin. Is that clear as mud?
