what you say is true,but the reason for this is safety. if you lose power,blow a hyd.line, or what ever the brakes go on.you cannot depend on draging the tool you have on the front to stop you going down a hill. a mower deck doesn't lend it's self to being a great brake,or a bucket going backwards.the parking brake isn't getting it,while moving.
you can add a fitting to pump in pressure to move it but that doesn't make sense if it's broke. you fix it then move it out on it's own /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
