So does Iowa. Every drop of hard liquor and wine goes through the state warehouse. I worked there back in '71 & '72.

They control hard booze; all the state stores were closed by the Guv (I think he disapproves of drinking) and didn't open til July. We could still get wine at a few grocery stores but only 3 liters per purchase.

He's in office til 2022 and by that time USA ight be an all Blue country.

I think the current proposal on the table is $1400. It still needs to be approved by the House and Senate. Then Treasury needs to process the payments.

My simple mind tells me all this money has to inflate prices...

The Real Estate Markets setting new highs all the time...

8 years ago for the same money I could buy 3 nice family homes and in 2020 the same money would come up a little short to buy just one..

Pretty dramatic and now with the buying frenzy during a pandemic seems counter intuitive unless there is widespread belief inflation is coming...
