Hello, I've been lurking and reading but decided I need to sign up and ask some questions.
I have narrowed it down to two tractors.
A brand new left over 2013 john deere 2520 with loader/bucket and frontier box blade for $16,300
2 year bumper to bumper and 4 year power train, dealer is 20 min away
Or
A brand new 2015 Yanmar 424 with loader/bucket and woods box blade for $15,300
2 year bumper to bumper and 5 year power train, dealer is an hr away.
The yanmar is nice and the cab is spacious and set up nice, 1200lb lift capacity.
But I really like the jd too.
My concerns with the yanmar is adding a 3rd function kit of some sort as I want to get a grapple for either of these I chose. Jd has more aftermarket and dealer parts and support. But yanmar made tractors for jd for years and still use their engines and drive trains. Also resale value is a concern. I'm easy to buy just can't make up my mind, I want the jd but not sure it's worth the extra $1300??? Someone please help me make a choice already lol! Are these prices decent?
No mowing or brush hogging, just loader work, a future grapple and maybe a snow blade.
