I dont understand your question? Did you brake the bolt that holds the hub on? IF you have a broken bolt your going to have to get the bolt out of where its broken.
I think you are looking at a tear down of the back end. I'm thinking those may have broken due to bad bearings. Here's a couple of links about the 1500 rear axle.
No, it broke becasue there was a makeshift roof attached to the fender. The fender bolted to the top two bolts of the seal housing. The driver got the roof caught up in a limb that tore the roof off. Breaking the bolts holding the roof on and breaking the top half of the seal housing.
Ah ok. You will need to remove the hub. # 28 in the axle internals picture. It's held on by the one bolt. I needed to use a puller to get mine off. Then you can replace the broken housing and the seal. It's a dry axle but there is a seal there to keep out dirt. You may find you also need the sleeve the seal rides on too. Also there's a paper gasket. Some sealant there would be fine.
