If your strictly looking to maintain you may look into a landscape rake. Mine has paid for itself 10x in gravel drive and parking lot maintenance. It can be angled to bring gravel back from the edges to the center of the drive, fill in low spots, and works wonders for re-dressing the drive and popping gravel back up to the surface that has begun to sink a bit. The spacing in the tines lets gravel escape as your working it leaving a well dressed surface as opposed to a blade or boxblade that tends to remove gravel.
*Edit - I own a rear blade, box blade, and landscape rake and use the rake everytime for gravel maintenance. Now if your repairing one that is shot with lots of deep ruts, then a boxblade is the ticket.

To add to another popular thread: get a polebarn, R4 tires, 2520 with FEL vs x series, Kubota vs. Deere, synthetic oil, while making sure to use your ROPS

If the sole purpose is to maintain the gravel road I'll second
the motion for a Land Plane type implement without hesitation. Nothing else is as simple to use nor gives such a groomed result in such little time.

if ya don't have cash to get all the attachments. you can get one that fits your overall needs. and then rent something from some local dealer possibly.
