While at the dealer's last week I took a few extra pics of some equipment. Since Bob's post on Box Blades was so useful I thought I'd post what I had on Rear Blades to start a thread on them as well.

First up is..

Didn't have any Bush hog brand blades on the lot so I stole a pic from their website. Link to pic and spec sheets Here

So What's better for smooting out dirt roads, a boxblade or read blade? I've read posts over the years and probably am no closer. Back when I owned a new Kubota BX1500 then a new B7610, I didn't really care for the Woods read blade I had. I liked the landscape rake better for smoothing out my 300' dirt driveway. I've upgraded to a 50hp. Kubota and figure the big jump in hp. and weight would make a considerable change in performance for a rear blade. I have an offer to help maintain dirt roads and wonder what would get more done faster. Any thoughts???

Sorry, after checking out some other posts, I probably could have asked the rear blade / boxblade question under a different post... my apologies.

Here is the Landpride 1560 I bought. I would have bought a Midwest, but this was local and I got it really cheap.
