MY DEALER SUCKS, WA
Tractor
John Deere 2305
picked up this blade from a Guy in LaCenter for 75$ I plan on adding ripper teeth that are removable because I don't have a box blade. three teeth about six or eight inches apart. I started welding the tooth bracket tonight. I'd also like to add a bracket for my suitcase weights to add some weight. any ideas?

Good deal for $75.

I would get some box blade scarifier teeth as they are only 20 - bucks each or so. Then some 4" angle and make a box for the teeth like a box blade has. Then you can raise and lower them as needed. See if you can mount it on the back side of the blade. That way it will both strengthen the blade and add more weight where it will do the most good.

Very cool idea and for the money you cant beat it. Now you just have to build ends for the blade and you will have a box blade with teeth.

Your dealer sucks but your tractor is green? I know of a doozy of a dealer 15 miles north of us who is marginal at best. La Center deer dealer was OK, not stunning but wasn't a train wreck. Loved the orange guy just down the road.

Greetings btw from the other side of the hill

i know exactly of whom you are referring! that is them. Jo-Bob at the front probably can't even tie his own shoes. the will try to sell you crap you don't need, always pining for the most expensive new tractor or part. my business goes to the kubota dealer unfortunately for the JD dealer. those guys are great! all my tractor needs are met there. they even carry JD green paint for me. I'm in Kelso, just up the road from you.
