My son has purchased a house with some acreage late fall last year. This past week he has purchased a new to him tractor. He wanted little to do with my tractor as a kid, and as such knows very little. I have been looking for a rear blade for him (I have had mine for 20yrs). As I have been looking I have seen some with what appears to be the blade formed in a metal brake.

Anyone have any experience with one of these?
What are your thoughts?

Am I the only one for who the pic isn't loading??

If I'm understanding it right then
I have one that looks like it was bent in 2 places (3sections) as opposed to a rolled curve. And it's considered an HD variant.. no issues with a 115HP tractor..

I have and HLA heavy duty front snow blade and a LandPride medium duty rear blade. The HLA blade was formed in a metal brake with a bend every 2" or so. The LandPride blade is smoothly curved. I suspect that if I were snow plowing at 30 mph the HLA would roll the snow off less than a smooth arc, but I don't really see any difference in performance or durability.
