Yes my plan was to push snow with it if I needed to. Not planning on pushing snow solely with it. Thanks for the info on possible damage to the 3 point though. I will keep that in mind

People often recommend turning the blade around, then driving forward for snow clearing without driveway damage.

On my tractor I have turf tires with four link chains that are 60 inches wide. I also have a six-foot back blade that I use to remove snow from our snowy north east winters. I really wouldn't be worried about bending anything while pushing the snow in reverse. It won't be the snow that does the damage it would be hitting a rock or some other obstruction hidden by the snow. I do have two 40 pound suitcase weights that I attached to the back of the blade. This helps keep the blade down when I'm pushing the snow into a snowbank. The three point hitch has no downward pressure so while pushing backwards and into a bank it tends to rise up and I'd like to keep it down. I find I do most of my snow removal in reverse and pushing the snow rather then driving forward and pulling it. But that may be just me.

I guess I should have asked you Todd how it pulled blade full of snow with the weight and power of your 2210d. I read that you said it did a fair job and I took that as a fair job of cleaning the area you were working on. Just curious about the power department of your 2210 with a full blade full of snow is all? Thanks

Power of the 2210 isn't a problem in even the heaviest of snows....not even close. I have some "wide open spaces" (much wider than single track driveway) that aren't conducive to productive back bladeing... More of a issue with the implement being used rather than power of the tractor, somewhat of a problem with traction with the AG tires. Snow rolling off the B.B. is somewhat of an issue too, but can be done.

No need to worry about 3 Pt damage, its mounting a blade on the front end loader arms that you need to worry about...

I didn't think power would be an issue for the 2210d, but wasn't for sure. I have ag tires on mine and have thought about getting the turf kit but can't spend that kind of money at the moment. My plan was to fluid ballast my ag tires and hope that this would help for snow removal. I have a lot of other things I will be doing with the tractor that will probably require the ag tires too. I'm hoping my side tilling and plowing job will take off this summer, and if it does I'm gonna want to keep the ag tires on. I suppose if it does well enough I could justify a set a turfs in a couple of yrs but need to pay for the tiller and bottom plow first I agree with MesaAZguy that picture of yours is pretty cool and would make a great christmas card!

In my experience AG tires do lack in traction in the snow/ice more than turfs, but it is doable. Good luck, and in the future if you want to go to a plow on front look me up....hopefully I have made progress by then....
