Rear Hyd Remote stuck

Is the bolt with the paper in it one of the ones that could be too tight?

If this is the problematic valve...I would remove this cap and see what you find...

Thanks for the replies. Next problem - there is nothing in my tool box that will fit that cap. I gotta go buy something before I can remove it. Anyone know if it's metric or SAE? I think that's a hex style, but I can't see it and having trouble figuring out exactly what it is. Does anyone happen to know what I need?

I would bet metric.
Prolly get a set for $10-12

The hydraulic fittings will likely be metric as well, and likely need a wrench for both "nuts" so you don't mess up the tubing.

Find someone that can give you some first-hand advice/help if you are unsure of the procedures to follow. "clean" is most important with hydraulics.. and dirt in the system may be the cause of your problems now.

I think getting some help is good advice. I'm looking for a mechanic now.

I'm with /pine. After cleaning around it, I would pull the cap and see if the detent isn't all gunked up. Wouldn't hurt to try loosing the bolts that hold the sections together a little, but if it worked when first put on, I don't think that would be the problem. The SVC valves are normally before the 3-point, so if that valve (or any other) is not in neutral, that is why your 3-point isn't working. If a valve is dead heading the pump and sending oil over the relief valve, that would answer why the oil got so hot.

Just wanted to tell everyone the tractor is fixed and working well again. I found a local tractor mechanic who took it apart and freed it up. He said it was just full of gunk and he struggled to get it to move even after getting it apart. It didn't need any new parts, and he thought it happened because it went about 6 months without being used. He suggested I hook up the blade and use it every couple months, which I was planning to do anyway. Thanks again for all the help.
