You could restrict the drop rate by adding a needle valve and set to your needs.

Some needle valves have controlled flow in both directions.

Some needle valves have controlled flow in one direction, so you could raise as fast as you want, but restrict the drop rate.

Thanks JJ, that is something to consider.

Now that I now how the ports work I will just hook up to the left side all the time.

I do have one more question. So if I have a 2 hose hydraulic cylinder will the lever have control for up/down and rate at which they both move since the right side does not act like the left side?

I do not know what a habine is; but, on my BX 3PT there is a valve that effects the speed of movement and can be closed to keep it in a set position. You may need to add a needle valve to the P line going to the valves controlling your habine. Just an idea w/o really knowing what you have. Pictures might help.

Sorry for not clearing up for you what a haybine is. It's about the same thing as a swather, it has a cutter bar and reel for cutting "hay" and mine puts the cut hay in a windrow for baling. Here's a couple pictures of it working.

Have you considered stacked hyd valves.

3 SPOOL 20 SERIES PRINCE STACK VALVE POWER BEYOND

Just order the sections that you need and set it up the way you want.

You can order any section to suit your needs.

I hadn't really thought about it before. Due to the limited space in the operators station I was looking to use the space made for the OEM set-up but I was looking last night and it might not be too hard to fabricate something up on the right fender for a set-up like that.

Thanks!
