Rear hydro hook up

How hard would it be to run two lines to the rear of my L3710 so I can hook the backhoe up easier? Can I just use black pipe or do I need special line? Thanks for the imput.

Unless you use heavy wall black pipe it is not strong enough to with stand the pressure.
NOTE: Never use galvanized pipe for hydraulic lines.

Threaded connections pressure ratings.

schedule 40 pipe:
1/2" 663 PSI
3/4" 631 PSI

Schedule 80 pipe:
1/2" 1932 PSI
3/4" 1722 PSI

Schedule 160 pipe:
1/2" 3334 PSI
3/4" 3528 PSI

1/2" 5.3 GPM
3/4" 9.2 GPM

Steel tubing
1/2" OD x .049 wall thickness rated to 2650 PSI
1/2" OD x .065 wall thickness rated to 3600 PSI

5/8" OD x .065 wall thickness rated to 2850 PSI
5/8" OD x .083 wall thickness rated to 3700 PSI

3/4" OD x .065 2350 PSI
3/4" OD x .083 3050 PSI

Flow rates at 10 Feet per Second
1/2" x .049 3.9 GPM
1/2" x .065 3.35 GPM

5/8" x .065 6 GPM
5/8" x .083 5.1 GPM

3/4" x .065 9.4 GPM
3/4" x .083 8.34 GPM

Depending on your skills and tool availability tubing cab be bent and flared or ORFS brazed on.

Thank you for the input. I do have bending tools and a flaring tool so I'll go that route. Wasn't sure how to go about it or what to use. You cleared it all up now. Better to ask a dumb question then spend a lot of money and aggravation doing something all wrong. I know how to machine but the tractor is all new to me and I don't want to screw anything up. Thanks again.
