Rear Lighting

I am adding a picture of the top of my BuckTop canopy. The canopy is made of fiberglass. The rotating beacon has a magnetic base. I cut a square of thin metal, primed and painted it and double sticky foam taped it to the top of the canopy. It serves as the "mounting" site for the beacon's magnetic base.

I have struggled with this decision for a long time, and I don't know why.

I just went out to Discount Auto Parts, picked up a 55 watt tractor light, a rocker switch, and in-line fuse.

In a matter of minutes I am ready for the night. I drilled a new hole to mount the light and used an existing Kubota hole to mount the rocker switch.

Can't get any easier than this. Why I didn't do it sooner I will never know.

Ok.. this post is more for comic relief than anything.. but um.. check out the 'rear' lighting on this NAA I just aquired.

Hi all,

Attached is what I came up with for a solution of the lights being blocked on my HN TC35D with the 16LA FEL. The lights are also able to rotate 360 degrees and tilt to any angle necessary. These will help alot with not only the FEL, but also with my backhoe attachement during digging in the dark.

It's a simple design using 3/8" or 5/16" all thread. Hope this helps!!

Take a look at my post in NH Owning/Operating titled "Rear lights on a Boomer". As I said in that post, the design came from many great ideas from the great people on this forum. The switch location/design was mine. The wife is surprized that I can still think and even more surprized when my ideas actually work /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
