i posted this in another sub forum but someone suggested i try here.... hope you can help!

Hey guys, ive been lurking around for a while and need some help here. I am working on my brothers kioti ck27 which he has a rhino 75 backhoe on. He would like to get rid of the pto pump and run the backhoe off of a set of remote hyrdos in the rear. I am looking into getting the kit and am having a problem finding a full "kit"--- if there is even a one-click setup available, im not sure.

anyways ive looked through a couple of the threads here and i feel confident i cant tackle this job myself. I do plan on calling up a rhino dealer and seeing what he can do but from my previous dealings with them they really like to give it to me rough on pricing---and even harder when i refuse the service of letting them install it! haha

can anyone throw some part-kit numbers at me and also a good place to purchase from?

i had seen some of the threads mention "wallace" but im not sure if hes around anymore--- or is even still a kioti dealer

thanks in advance!

Make sure that the tractor pump can supply enough hydraulic fluid that the hoe requires. I'm in the process now of converting my hoe over to a pto pump, because my tractor is on the low side supplying fluid, which makes my hoe slow. Hate to see you spend good money and have bad results.

Hmm.... thats good question... i googled the specs and it says the tractor is rated at 12.8gal/min and on rhinos website the hoe calls for 5-6.... i would assume i should be okay then, correct?

Your tractor is fine, but just to let you know, that 12.8GPM is the combined pump total of the steering and implement pumps. Did you e-mail or call MIE? I bet that you are looking at around $300.

Good luck. ;)

I have a rhino plumbed to rear remotes. Works good. The first remote kit is like $475. I suggest getting both remotes. As I understand it's not that hard to install.

I installed both rear remotes on my CK30hst. Same as your CK27 except for 3hp and hydro trans. I run a Kioti model 2375 bh, 7 1/2', with no problem. Kioti does have a full kit whether you decide on just one or two remotes. These are only available from a dealer though. Mine were around 325 for one and 375 for the other but this was about 8 years ago. I had purchased my kits from Wallace but he and Kioti had some differences and I believe he's just Mahindra now. As mentioned, Michigan Iron and Equipment, Error are great to deal with and that's where I get my parts now. Not sure why it comes up as error but that's their site.

If you know how to round up parts and install hyd hoses, yu or a friend can add a remote valve with 1,2 or 3 spools for BH or maybe T-N-T.

You have plenty of hyd to run a BH.

A single spool mono block valve Open Center valve that you need will have 5 ports. A two spool valve will have 7 ports.

IN= supply

Tank/OUT=reservoir/tank

PB=passes fluid downstream

Work port A= for cyl, motor, or BH

Work port B= for cyl, motor, or BH

Your BH return will probably run the OUT port to tank/reservoir.

You can put a QD on the PB line and connect it to the BH when in use.

When the BH is off, the PB hose will connect to the 3pt input.

Here is your single spool valve with PB port.

1 SPOOL 14 GPM PRINCE WVS11B5C1 DA VALVE

So, what so you want to do?

FYI - the Kioti kit (first two valves) will have the control handles that fit the machine - no 'making do'.

Okay i just talked to someone and they said i might just need a hose kit? apparently its cheaper?? does anyone have any info on this??

If your FEL valve has PB adapter, and there is a PB hose going to the 3pt, then you can interrupt the hose at the 3pt input and put a QD on it and use that as the supply for the BH.

When not using the BH, plug the QD into the 3pt input. BH OUT hose will go to tank.

I originally had the hose kit because that's what my local dealer said there was for the bh. It does work to give you hyd flow for the bh. I had paid $125 and still have it stored in my garage. I can work with you if you would want it but I would go with an actual controlable remote. The hose kit will give you the two QDs at the rear like the remote but you have to go under the tractor, most of the time laying on the ground, with a wrench to turn the valve completely on. When you do this, you need something connected to the QDs if the tractor is running, the bh has open center valves that allow fluid flow, or you will be dead heading the hydraulic flow. You can't disconnect the bh until you turn the valve off. After removing the bh, you turn the valve completely off or your 3pt won't lift correctly. It mounts in the same place on the right side of the rear tractor case just in front of the rear tire for hyd fluid flow as a remote does. As mentioned, it does work for hyd flow but it's a pita and if you ever wanted to connect something like a 3pt clyinder, top and tilt, or anything that needed valve controlled fluid, the hose kit isn't it. That's why I had changed to the actual remotes. More useful.

Go with the factory rear remote kit. It is a clean easy install with formed steel lines back to QDs with holding bracket for the couplers. Took me about 2 hours to install the dual (2 valve) set on mine, which is identical to the CK27. Part that took the longest was putting the bolts back in the seat plate. All the bolts are same size but some different lengths and I wasn't watching close enough when I took them out to get the seat off.

I will be in touch!
This is for my brothers unit and he has already made it clear that he has no plan on ever adding anything other than a hoe to the machine--- he rarely takes it off.

In the hose-kit setup would there be any additional strain to the hydro system leaving it permanently attached to the tractor with fluid running through it?
Also-- instead of turning it off every time you detach, could you just loop a QD hose completing the connection?

This may come off as a little rude but hes letting me "use it" (since I cant afford a hoe for my ct225 yet) for the cost of adding a hose kit, and fixing his fel joystick he broke (old style nylon balls) so im trying to do it as cheap as possible.

BTW-- New home ownership sucks. Buyers didn't tell me about the water in the basement issue--nor the fact they failed to put a drain field in for the septic system

Do you have the part number for the kit? I called a Kioti dealer and was quoted about $850. Now I'm a little outside my comfort zone when talking tractors and I don't know exactly what I'm asking for, so I may have said something wrong... Thanks in advance,

If that's for 2 remotes then the price is about right.

I'm not sure what it was for. My tractor has a KL130 Loader on it already and has hydraulics already set up for it. I just purchased a 3pt backhoe (New Holland 758C) that has quick disconnects on the hoses. I'm needing to add a connection port (in/out) to the rear and i'm told a switch of some sort to switch between the loader and the hoe).

If I'm not making sense, I'll try to have my friend (who would be doing the install) read this and help me reply. I'm well outside my area of expertise, so I might be talking nonsense....

You can get one or two sets of remotes. A remote gives you hydraulic flow to remote implements. A set is one port for in, one for out. The BH will plug in to it. Power beyond is different, I think that's the JD term. The loader is separate, that's basically 2 remotes controlled by one valve. Kioti sells two kits, 1 set of remotes (2 ports) and 2 sets (4 ports). The 2 remote option would cost about 850, the single remote about 600. You only need one for a BH. You should have someone who knows what their doing look things over, or (even better) talk to your dealer in person. Tell him what you're doing and he'll be able to get you what you need.

The picture shown is for 1 remote, which is what you need.

That's a pretty good sized backhoe for that tractor. I recommend you get a sub frame for it.
A Kioti or Rhino sub frame should bolt up to that hoe.
