I have since learned of a added benefit to the rear remote. With the set up of the hoses, it makes it easier to hook up the backhoe because the lines are now longer. This is particularly important with the BX if your backhoe has settled to the ground while in storage.

If you decide to go for the rear remotes, I would be glad to help you with additional pictures and dimensions.

Junkman, this is a great thread and you have done a wonderful job at explaining what you did. Congratulations!

I would like to do something like this on my BX23. Would it be possible for BX22 - BX23 - BX24 owners to post more photos and schematics showing the various components they used and, more importantly, illustrations of the hydraulic flows between those components please?

Ip333,

Junkman is no longer on this forum. The moderator has banned him for life, for a reason that I do not know. He was very knowledgeable, and is much missed.

Thanks Ron, sorry to hear that.

Are there other members here that might be able to provide photos and schematics about auxiliary rear hydraulic remotes pertaining specifically to the BX22, BX23 or BX24?

I have Junkman's email address...
I have a email in to him asking if I can give it out to those looking for advice on their BX. :)
He's very knowledgable on many subjects, and I'm sure he will be able to help with your remotes questions.

Andy, thanks for the kind offer - that's much appreciated! A couple of days ago, Dusty was kind enough to provide me with Junkman's coordinates.

Am I seeing this setup correct, that your rear remote is disabled when your backhoe is on?

That is how I understood it as well.
