Rear remotes for B7610

Looking to purchase a 3pt log splitter for my 7610. My question is do I need to get rear remote valves installed or can I run hoses from the loader valves the splitter?
If it would work, would I need to use the loader stick to operate the rear remotes?

2nd question. Are rear remote valves "active" all the time? Unlike the main valve that requires a loader stick movement to activate the appropriate valve?
Seems as though this would be the way rear remotes would work.

See these posts for the hydraulics for my 3 point splitter on my 7510. First ran rear hydraulic lines (like those for a BH) for a splitter, then 6 mo later installed rear remotes and kept the rear lines for the splitter..

The feed lines are always active. ie fluid runs thru them and the splitter when connected. the must be connected together to create a complete loop, when the splitter is not installed...

I did all my own install. pretty straight forward
