I’m looking for some advice/thoughts/anyone with experience on the following.
I’d like to add rear remotes to my BX25. Looking at hydraulic valve kit options from both fitrite hydraulics and summit hydraulics.
It appears one of the main differences is how the valves are actuated. With the fitrite kit there are handles used to open/close the valves. With the summit kit this is done with a switch box/solenoid set-up (this set-up might be a bit more compact as well). The summit kit with solenoid set-up saves a few hundred bucks, which is always good, but I would rather spend more for quality and functionality - especially if I’m missing a blaring difference, for example is there more hydraulic cylinder control with a manual handle vs a switched solenoid set-up.
Anyway, looking for any thoughts/advice and any references from other members who may have used either of these set-ups.
Much appreciated!
