I have a JD 2355 and a semi-mount 10' offset bush hog. The cutter is raised and lowered by a combination of the 3-pt hitch and a lever that works a hydraulic cylinder. There are two hoses and two connections to the tractor. The cutter has one cylinder and one hose goes in the top, the other in the bottom.

I also have a Kubota L5740. I plan to get rear remotes for it. In researching a batwing cutter, I found some that only have one hydraulic hose. Folks here explained to me that it only needed one to raise the wings because it used its weight to lower them.

I'm assuming my current cutter has hydraulic pressure for both raising and lowering, hence the two hoses.

When referring to "Rear Remotes", I read people speaking of needing two for top & tilt or 3 if you want both lift arms and the top link working.

My question: If you have "Two Rear Remotes", is that two plugs (like my JD has) or 4?

Thanks.
