Rear retreaded Aircraft tires on a tractor?

Thanks but I went there and could not find rear tires. 30 or 36 in rims. What am I missing?

I am only guessing, but surmise the resellers are cutting in a new tread pattern into the existing tire or retreading the aircraft tire to produce R1 or R4.

They glued a new R4 tread over the aircraft tire.

You could max out the air compressor which on mine is about 140 psi and then use a nitrogen tank to top it off to the correct pressure. The cheaper option would be to use a scuba tank which I can get filled for free. Since it is a tractor less than 50 PSI is plenty. The biggest problem is the tractor axel is not rated to 96K.

I have never heard of aircraft tires on a tractor, interesting.
I remember several decades ago. A local farmer was planning to put aircraft tires on the front of a small tractor he got at a auction. The side wall were that hard that the local tire changer at the garage could not get them on as they had very little flex. Equipment is better now for changing tires.
It is common practice around here to have back tires mounted for traction in reverse on 2WD units with a loader.
Why spend the extra money if they work fine the way they are.

I have a Ford 4000 with aircraft tires on front. But recapped tire have been used by operators on industrial equipment for a while. I have put them on hoes and motor graders. I would use them on my tractor and smile.Image no thorns penetrating the carcass of a tire.

The wheels on even a B747 or A380 aren't that big. That's why you can't find them.
