I built the front-end loader myself, and it can lift about 600 Lbs. using the 54 inch bucket. It is quick attach and works with the moving deck on also.
Looks good, I have a 445 john deere myself, and i was considering building one myself, how much money did you put into it? Could we see more pics of it? I would really appricate it!!

I think all these ideas are great anything to save some cash. I also made up my weight solution so my tractor could tuck in the corner of my garage better. I took a metal pipe the size of the hole in the lower 2 arms of the 3pt hitch and the width of the rear end of the tractor [5 ft ] I put some old weights from a weight lifting set I had at home on the pipe and collars that I could tighten with a wrench on each outer end of the pipe so the weights would not slide off.I think it cost me $ 10 for the pipe and I had everything else.
Nice job! I think I'll build one and use dirt, sand, or gravel for ballast and I could dump it out and use the bucket for hauling stuff. How 'bout rigging a swivel to dump it while mounted on the tractor? WOW! my brain is racing...
Thanks,
Terry
I need to take a pic of my rear weight. It's a 36" wide steel bar (5/8" -- can be found near roofing) from Home Depot through a Rubbermaid 21 gal or so container. Held 360 lbs of concrete (6 x 60lb bags -- approx $12). Works great and no top link to hook up since the bar is above center and the container fits snug in the Harbor Freight Quick Hitch. For my BX this is plenty of weight. Not pretty but cheap and works. Easier to hookup than Boxblade.
