When I was shopping, Kubota changed their incentives quarterly. in 2014 and 2015, it was best to buy in he last quarter (October-December). I bought my BX25D on 12/31/2015. If I had waited until the next quarter, I would have paid around $850 more, for the same things (not counting taxes as those are different everywhere and not a fair comparison).

The last quarter of 2015 was also the only time they had true 0% financing (minus the $65 document fee). Every other time, the 0% cost you around $500. Apparently, they weren't selling as many tractors, that year.

I don't know if this is still true, today, since they've gone to a six year powertrain warranty and longer financing terms, but it wouldn't surprise me.

For me in KY, Kubota charges a 50.00 fee for financing and the state charges a 10.00. Other than that the full price is broken down into 60 monthly payments....my understanding is 72 mos with 10% down and 84 mos with
20% down were options in my case

New Kubotas for the most part belong to Kubota, not the dealer. Dealer sells them but checks the day the order is entered for their (Dealers) exact cost. All used tractors/equipment on Barlows lot belongs to Barlow.

Probably any dealer could/would/should tell you that every month. The dealer may have hints but the actual details aren't rec'd by dealer until the first day of the month. Incentives can change up or down thru the month has been my experience. I've made deals and came back a few days later and Steve Barlow checks for the exact cost and incentives that day and has lowered my price by around $300 one time. Again, they don't operate like car/truck dealers.

several of these details are not exactly correct, but overall you give an impression that pricing is highly variable which is not true. For the most part program updates are done every 3-4 months, frequently they are just extended and don't change. We REALLY appreciate that fact about Kubota because not all our vendors are this consistent.

That said, Kubota is having a very good year and we've been hearing a lot of chatter about program pull backs, particularly 0/72-0/84 rates.

I don't think simply ordering is enough to lock in a rebate or financing. They have to be able to identify a specific tractor.

That was my recent experience....

Not only the tractor, but the serial number on all implements, including the aftermarket pallet forks for the financing.

Before I backed out of the deal, the salesman did say we were losing rebates/rates on July 1. Of course that could of been just sales speak.

Hello,

Just wondering if anybody else is hearing rebates will be smaller after June. I was told a B2601 with 2
implements would be about a 1000 more come July. Thanks

I have as well.

Currently looking at two Kubota machines and am well aware of the current incentives.

Should the incentives be reduced on any of the machines that I am currently shopping, such shopping stops.

Patience is a virtue.

Never buy retail.

He who hesitates is lost. :D

Bingo.

I was casually looking at a B3350 and seriously looking at a RTV-X1100C. The incentive did not change on the RTV, while the $2/3K rebate on the B3350, as expected, vanished.

The B3350 is now off of the table but I will likely but the RTV this coming week.

He who hesitates is lost late. :D

FTFY ;^)

Talked to my dealer the last day of June, and he said the current program was going away and he had no idea what would replace it.

When I speculated that late Fall might be a good time, he disagreed. He claims that K' (and others mfgrs) offer rebates based on their market share numbers, and Kubuta has been mopping up this past quarter. He said they moved more Kubota s than any time in the past many years this past quarter. He said that a lot of ppl (far more than K' expected) were taking the 0% financing deals.

So I expect the 0% financing is off the table for the near future. (doesn't impact me).

When I talked to a JDeere dealer last month he told me they were in the midst of a re-design for their compact models and they basically had nothing to sell that wasn't already on the lot (?!!?) ! JD tends to make their new releases in late August - roughly - so perhaps K' will enter the fray after JD reveals - that's my weak guesstimate.

September might be interesting.

I'm waiting to hear back on a revised quote from the local dealer - I'll post if I hear more.

I should add to this, generally your talking incentives worth a few hundred bucks. Unless your concerned about every last penny, I'd pull the trigger and get to work rather than waiting around for some deal that may or may not materialize.

says the guy who has to sell tractors year round :)
