I need to get some pictures, but just been very busy with work, trying to get ready for vacation next week. When I get back, I will try to figure out how to post a picture. I assume I can just attach as a file. Is there a quick way to adjust the quality of the photo so the file size is reasonable?

Here is one I built and have had no problems towing my 20' boat around with it.

Brett,

Only thing I see wrong with yours is that *I* would wack my knees on it every time I walked around it--even with the hitch removed!

I know it won't work as well, but I'm putting mine on top or recessing it in the rear upright.

I'm a slow learner and my legs couldn't take it. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I actually cut a hole in my BB and mounted a 2" square tube so I can insert a standard receiver or pull it out when not in use.

Hey MikeEC,

I did the same thing as you! Needed to move a trailer around the woods and got tired of dropping off the BB to do it. So I too, cut a hole and make a 2x2 receiver out of 1/4" angle iron. drilled a hitch pin hole and welded it to the blade. Then added some scrap angle for not-needed support but it looked kinda cool.
As I recall, I made this mod around 1986. Sold the BB to my B-I-L in 1998 and he still uses it as balast on his 9N while pulling one of his trailers around.
Today, I use a Quick Hitch. Lazier and wiser, I guess. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
