Hi, just interested to know if anyone has had or used one of these Gramegna Reciprocating Spaders before.
I seen them advertised on Earth Tools site and a few others.

I am interested to know how they perform and they basically work by pushing mini spades into the ground.
Looking to see if the two wheel tractors are actually heavy enough to make them work correctly, i am sure they work fine on very loose soil, but harder packed soil i am not sure on.

They also mentioned that you need a heavy duty PTO, just how hard on the PTO and machine are they?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
Peter.

G'day Cobber.

Who's supplying here in Tassie? I had a look at Gramegna's YouTube video (hard, frozen ground) and it was very impressive for an implement I'd never heard of before. It does look like a heavier tractor type implement due to the 'digging' force.

Mind you, you never know what will show up at Agfest this year... they're downsizing so many implements for SCUTs, side-by-sides and, I suppose, 2-wheel tractors.

Where are you in our fine State?

G'Day Wagtail, Yes i am from around the Devonport area.
tThere is a supplier here in Tassie but i would highly not recommend them at all, nothing but drams with them.
I just found a crowd in the Mainland Victoria called vinrowe.com.au was an add on the box last night, apparently they are going to be at Agfest this year.

Yes i have never heard of the Gramegna Reciprocating Spaders untill yesterday, did a bit of a search and found them at earth tools and also at this Vinrowe crounds site.

Looks like a good implement if the ground has been work the previous year and not 10 years of hard compacted ground.

Right-O. I had a sticky at the Agfest exhibitors list. Couldn't spot vinrowe or Gramegna so they must be under someone else's tent.

I'm goin' first day, Thurs as I like to see if I can pick anything up before it's been picked through. Of course, there can't possibly be anything that I absolutely never knew that I needed!

(This year)

Yes, had a look and couldn't see them listed either, will send them an email, but most likely won't get an answer till mid week being Easter still.
Tassie distributors are there, but wouldn't recommend dealing through them.

Hi Wagtail, They will be under the Dobmac tent this year if that is of any help.
Got some good price lists from them too, not badly priced.
