Late post I guess. I have back problems, sitting in just about any chair hurts. I buy so-called "zero gravity" chairs from the Relax-the-back store. Very expensive, but you can get them on sale if you're patient. There's some lightweight zero-gravity themed porch furniture if you want to try it out for cheaper.
Basically these chairs keep your body parts at 90 degree angles relative to each other, and by angling the whole chair back you have a lot of the stress removed from what would normally be vertical pressure on your spine.
I find it really helps, it's the only chair I find relief with, even if it costs as much as a 3PH attachment
