Keith assumed correctly-southeastern NY/southwestern CT is my area and thanks to all who replied. But I will give all the mentioned places a call anyway-delivery charges may be worth it.

Did you guys who got your equipment from afar get it delivered or did you drive there with your trailer? I could rent a trailer but it would probably be a pain in the %$#. Maybe I should invest in one.

As for service, are most of you taking care of it yourself or do you rely upon a dealer? From reading this forum it sounds like the Kubota's are quite reliable and don't require much beyond routine maintenance.

Thanks

In my instance, we split the difference, I went half way, his truck did the same. As far as service (ie) warranty, I have no issues approaching 400 hrs. IF it is something, the dealer has roving repair trucks, Only down side is I probably will wait a week or more likely scenario, two weeks before someone gets here. For the thousands I saved, to me it is more than worth the chance.,.. As is said many times before, 500, even a thousand, is not worth arguing over when buying local., When it is many thousands, saved over local, a different approach was on my agenda.
