No doubt the Pro Z 960 is pricey. This is the commercial mower with the 38HP EFI Kawasaki engine. It was on sale so about 20% off listed retail. I did struggle with the decision. If I live and mow 15 years the right decision. If I don't somebody will inherit a nice mower!I'm sure the ProZ is really nice, but I already struggled with the price tag of the ZTXS4. Then again I just retired, so still lacking certainty that the money saved up will last until my end!
Rhino, one question for you -- I assume yes, but did you try adjusting the tension spring on the seat on the ZTXS6? It's only got 1" of travel so I can understand it doesn't work miracles, but I've definitely found I need to "dial it in" a bit. Same on my tractor.
I didn't realize until just now that the Pro Z 960 has an AIR RIDE seat.No doubt the Pro Z 960 is pricey. This is the commercial mower with the 38HP EFI Kawasaki engine. The seat on the ZTX6 was set correctly. Good question. It bounced without bottoming out. It just wasn't a soft enough ride for my hilly and bumpy Kentucky property and I knew I would not be happy.
