I have a 15 gallon tank on the golf cart I guess I should finish filling as I was going to spray some round up then it got so dry.
We had all the batteries out and reconditioned them for several days last week and Rust Reformer'ed the battery rack and wire brushed all of the cable connections so it should make a good fire truck if needed. Actually it is good for 15-20 minutes but it would have to be short grass (like a lawn) and little wind. The big risk is smokers tossing live fire on to the road shoulders. I keep them bushhogged some and the state has just done their WIDE mow this year on the state highway.
I think even the grass that is still green would burn like diesel if a fire got very hot.
Funny thing I a swappy area near the church I have some drainage ditches to clean out with the back hoe on the 4th when I am off and there is rain in the forecast for the 3rd. Hope it is too soft to work. They normally run a little water all year but I noticed today some places was just mud. A trackhoe dug them about 12 years ago with a 3' bucket and deep but they have filled in. I hope to set the JD 310 B over the ditch and dig it out and work my way forward. My bucket is only 2'.
The kids are not happy about no fireworks.
