Removal of Asbestos siding

I know the type. With him being in city government I bet he uses his position to try to get people to do it his way too. Nothing worse than ignorant people in a position of power.

Yes and he got the city to take over an abandoned paper mill to convert to office spaces and a museum.
This stupid project cost the city millions in debt and they recently dumped it at a huge loss.
Half his tenants never paid rents using one excuse or another (like leaky roof, bad plumbing etc etc)
I tried to convince him back then to simply demolish and build new but he knew better. The project could only advance whenever they could get some government grants but depending on who was in power that was a hit and miss solution.
The end result is our taxes are twice what the neighboring city's are.
Making matters worst when the city acquired that paper mill they did soil tests at locations that the mill knew were safe.
Now all the new owners need to do is do random tests and for sure will suddenly discover major pollution therefore having a legitimate reason to default.
That old mill reeks of asbestos as they used steam heat and ducts/pipes were wrapped with it everywhere.
Being a high quality paper mill (bank note paper) the amount of caustic bleaches used was monumental so don't question the soil rests.

Not everyone is worried about health hazards. Guy on Right has a cigarette in one hand and a leaf blower in the other.
