Take the bolts out one by one. Yes, I am being a smart ***, but could you be a little more specific in what info you are looking for?

Don't you have a manual????

The shroud removal is way easier than the work you propose doing.

On the front of the BX, where the hood hinges, you'll find two black plastic grips that you can loosen. Take them out, if you wish. They are design to be tightened by hand. I found if you closed the hood, ever so slightly, the surround pulled out the front easily.

BTW, if you have the front grill guard on, it is in the way, obviously. It will need to be removed first.

With the side curtain panels removed, the engine is exposed in all its glory.

BP,

There should be a holder to keep the hood at 1/2 mast , it is kind of over the radiator.

Again it is in the manual:thumbsup:

Good directions for the 2 bolt task!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

If I recall, in addition to removing the grill guard, I had to raise the loader in order to pull the engine cover off...it's a pretty simple procedure. FWIW, I didcovered that I can remove the oil filter without taking the engine cove off.

I've found that too although they could have made the filter slightly more accessable.
