Removing engine side panels / cover: How to do it?

I'm reading the Owner's Manual for a Mahindra 2516 I'm thinking of buying. I can't find how you remove the engine side panels / covers to do service checks.

For example, I can't get to the oil dipstick.

I tried to do a search here but so far I haven't turned-up the answer. I'm not feeling too smart at the moment.

Can you help me?

Pull out on the front of the panel and then slide it forward. Just the oposite to install it.

On my new Max28 2013 Leftover, those side panel were really stuck on. I put a bit of Silicone grease on the front clips. Panels cone off with just a tug now.

I asked the same question as I thought I was going to bend the panel first time I tried to removed them.

My L39 Kubota has nise quick release quarter turn fasteners. Then again it cost about 3X the Max28.

Glad I read this. I only have 18 hours on my Max 24 and I'm already down a quart of oil. Side panels came off easy thanks to LAWALLSTRACTOR's directions. Also, in case any one wants to know of a good way to manage the rust spots that show up early on the black painted axle and other areas, my dealer recommended Fluid Film (developed by the Navy) and it works great. All the water left over from melting snow during snow blowing had taken its effect on the exposed areas.
