WOW - $6K for a snowblower?? I know that's the "cadillac" way to go but I bought a new 60 inch for $1300 for a pto mount. Just can't grasp why a front mount is that much more. Oh well, considering I don't have a cab either I guess driving backwards is the least of my worries!
Th Kuboa blower is $2,933, the quick hitch and mid PTO kit are $1,666 and the hydraulic chute rotator is $764. I am not sure where the other cost comes from. Given I usually have to snow blow 30 times a year about an hour each time, say for 20 years, the additional cost amounts to about $7 a time. The comfort of using the front blower (in my case in a heated cab) is well worth the extra money.
