I have a massey f sickle bar mower and it is too big for my B7800 kubota and i have been offered a trade on a ford 501. I know the ford is a lighter mower and also understand that it has too be reworked to fit my tractor. Does anyone know what I would have to do so the ford 501 would hook up to my tractor?

How close is the Ford mower to you? Maybe load up your tractor and go look at it to see what it would take. I have a little walk behind Troy-Built sickle mower, man is that thing noisy. Good luck with your search and welcome to TBN.

Interested in any responses you get as we just acquired Ford 501 14-92 7' mower. It came off a Ford 9N. The stabilizer connections to the 3PTH arms are not compatible with newer utility tractors. Looking to find what other folks have done to retrofit.
