Repairing cracked HDPE plastic tractor cab roofs?

Never used one but it looks promising.

That's the kit I've used and referenced above, it works fine, has it's limits but is cheap... is set up for HDPE with the filler rod and such... $20 is cheaper than a new top for sure... If thick plastic I've gone as far as going backwards first to V out the crack first to make room and make sure I get a good bond all the way, then bury the screen (can be cut with heavy duty scissors like the old free kitchen scissors or tin snips) with heat, then add in some filler material.

If you want to repair like body shops do replace the roof panel. About all they do anymore is replace panels.
