Are there flats for a open end wrench on the stock tip?

You may want to see if the LNL will even fit on all your zerks first. Many have found that they don't fit into some loader pins and a lot of backhoe pins. I ended up removing the LNL and put the standard coupler back on.

For sure - check to see that the LNL will fit your zerks. I have MANY zerks that are in a recessed hole. The hole is not large enough for the LNL to fit. I use either the standard tip or a needle tip. If the LNL was only a tad bit smaller in diameter it would be ideal.

I think some of those ends have a thread sealant that is ever bit that hard to loosen.

I have not had a Lock and Lube brand but have two other brands and for open fittings like them but as has been said they don't work with many fittings due to the access. No idea the brand now but one is very slender and the diameter is often not the issue with it, it is getting it to release. If pushes on but you must pull the outside up to release it, sort of llke hyd hose fittings and when it is down in a cover or such you end up having to remove the cover or needle nose pliers or such to release it.

Thats the whole reason why I got the lock n lube was just so i dont have to yank the coupler off the zerks.

Such gymnastics are not necessary with the Lock-N-Lube brand .

I had a similar problem.
I put the stock tip in my vise vertically, so that Kroil would soak down into the threads.
2 hours later the Kroil had done it's work, and I was able to thread the stock tip off.
If you haven't used it, Kroil is magical stuff!

I love my lock n lube-would like to buy the M18 or M12 someday but my pneumatic one is doing a fine job. They do offer other tips....if you buy from them through Amazon you get spare parts too.
