Replacement for my JD 318

I have a 1987 JD 318 46" deck which I love, I'm moving to FL and will not have enough space to store her inside, there are community restrictions as to storage shed size and best I can do is a small shed with a 46" wide opening, naturally my 46 deck is 53" wide. I did see (or thought I did) a 36" deck for the 318 but can't find it anywhere.

As a replacement, I was looking at a used x310 with a 42" deck and comparing with a new x370, same deck. While the x370 is the replacement for the x310 I noticed the x310 was 90 pounds heavier that the x370.

I'd appreciate any suggestions re finding a 36" deck for my 318 and/or comments on the used x310 vs new x370.

I would suggest finding a X310 or X370 and measuring the width with chute tilted up. No experience with the X3** series so I can't help you with there performance although I 99.99% sure that they are not built as heavy as the 318 is.

Around here The "D" series are at every box store but again not sure of your needs.
